Sometimes your friends dislike your boyfriend because they can see how badly he treats you, even when you’re still trying to make the relationship work. They remember who you were before you started settling, shrinking, and explaining away behavior you would never accept for someone you love.

I’ve wanted to make a “Dump Him” sweatshirt for years, and this is the dramatic, slightly unhinged vision that finally brought it to life: his head on a sword, a dry martini in hand, and a woman celebrating the freedom waiting on the other side.
