We have heard your concerns and are actively making changes to allow for more transparency and improvements on how we collaborate with people on promoting our brand. We want to make sure that selected models and those that join our Ambassador Program are not seen as interchangeable and that we don't mislead anyone into thinking they are.
WE ARE ADDING MORE SEPARATION AND CLARITY BETWEEN THE CASTING CALLS AND THE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
We have closed email applications for Casting Calls and you can now apply exclusively on Twitter when we release a new collection. The new collection’s Casting Call will be pinned at the top of our page where you are free to apply as often as you like. Since too many emails were lost, had an error sending, or replies that went to spam we have decided to remove email applications altogether for future calls.
Every call will be open to the public and we will announce it across all our channels including social media, our Ambassador Program, and our free newsletter. All the information will be included and will be posted on Twitter for anyone to apply to get free clothes and paid per photo.
Ambassadors are separate from models, since they get discounts on clothes and earn commissions on sales. Ambassadors do not earn free clothing from their posts unless they apply for a Casting Call and get chosen.
You do not need to be an Ambassador to be a model (although, we recommend it since you could earn commissions on top of what we pay per photo, which you can then post to encourage people to purchase using your referral link)
Anyone including customers, models, and ambassadors can submit photos to apply for payment at any time, separate from Casting Calls, by emailing them to models@lettershoppe.com
Just keep in mind our Approval Guidelines and how many photos we already have on any given product page. A good thing to also note is that many popular items will not need any additional photos. If you already see 12 photos on a product page, that’s the max. We won’t be able to accept any additional submissions for those apparel designs.
MORE PAID OPPORTUNITIES AND CAMPAIGNS
We have extended our budget to be able to approve more model photography than ever! What started as a max of 6 photos per product has now doubled to 12 so we can feature more size diversity in our products!
We offer $15 per photo for phone content and $30 per photo for DSLR content. As our business becomes more successful we only want to increase this rate over time as well as the number of photos we approve.
We also will be offering more opportunities for paid content outside Casting Calls. Not only will we be actively scouting for content to purchase where we have been tagged, but we will also have new themed campaigns you can participate in to be paid for photo and video content. We will be releasing more information on these new opportunities very soon in our Ambassador Newsletter.
