Art Videos Are Coming Every Wednesday!

With social media being more annoying than ever, I'm diversifying my content to create more videos! I'm excited to announce that starting next week I'll be posting a new Vlog every Wednesday to show you all the cool things I do and the lesson I learn along the way on this crazy full-time artist journey.

With a brand new Nikon D5600, my first real camera that's not my phone and a dedicated videographer added to my staff (my boyfriend Rick), nothing can stop me from posting weekly on YouTube, except my own laziness. So I'm posting this to keep me accountable because making free content is hard to do on the regular.

So what kind of content are you most interested in? The business side of freelancing, selling products, social media tips, portfolio reviews, what? Leave a comment and tell me what you are struggling with and I'll add it to my content calendar right away!

Don't forget to subscribe to my channel on YouTube too, to get sweet, sweet art advice plus access to my interview series Women of Illustration

My 5 top videos on YouTube...so far

Here are a few of my favorite youtube videos I've made so far using just my webcam and iPhone. So feel free to binge ALL OF THEM and get ready for one hell of a video makeover.

In this video, I share all the tools and apps that I use that are a part of my everyday life as a freelancer. These resources have helped me gained a faster workflow and a seamless onboarding process to take on new freelance clients.

In this video, I walk you through my entire process from initial inquiry all the way to final delivery completing my 1st commission of the year for Redbubble. They hired me to illustrate a new t-shirt design to celebrate 11 years of them being in business.

This video is the first of a 2-part series on how to create your own products from your artwork. In this video I go over things like how to make your products relatable, the best ways to proof your work, pachaging, shipping, and pricing.

In this video, I talk all about how to photograph, promote, and ship out your products once they arrive. I also update you on my week of teaching SEO, photographing a new product, and releasing a workbook on Chisled Serif lettering.

This is the first episode ever of Women of Illustration on the best ways to practice your craft with guest Illustrator and Animator Irene Feleo. We talk about how to grow your skills as an artist by following your gut, doing consistent work, and avoiding bad influences.
